Joe May must be taking the voters for granted here at the end of this year's election cycle. He certainly is not running through the finish line. Since October 27th, Joe May has given $2,500 of his own campaign money to other candidates (Tom Rust and Danny Marshall, specifically). Interestingly enough, this is the exact amount he received from two late-campaign corporate donations.
Those companies gave that money to Joe May in order for Joe May to make his case to the voters of the 33rd District. Apparently, Joe believes that the voters of the 33rd have heard enough of him.
Meanwhile, Marty Martinez was seen on Saturday at an event for a fellow Leesburg Democrat. He looked tired, but unbowed in his fight for votes in the 33rd District. Marty is taking nothing for granted, running and pushing for every vote so that when he gets to Richmond, he can fight just as hard for you and me against the powers that be.
